Fun Fact
This southwest view of Colorado highlights the location and northeast aspect of each mountain. This view was chosen because most of the mountains are typically seen (and recognized) from highways east of each range as well as the concentration of mountains in central and southern Colorado. A 3-dimensional satellite image was utilized as a template to properly locate each mountain range, park, reservoir and Fourteener; in conjunction with an aerial photograph of each individual mountain, artist Jeff Maxim was able to create this incredible painting! This Poster was developed and is printed exclusively in Colorado.
